Oh sorry, 08 Left as a website... Oh hell yeah. Because, I actually love this! For real. Love it!l As of August 2023 I'm proud to say that the reviews are an average of 4.99 after almost 10 years!. That means over 400 people decided to say something really nice.

If I'm not proud of an item, I don't sell it. The inboxes are filled with "wow", "perfect" "my dad loves it!" and "this is the best present" and you know...

My wife and I have been running our own businesses (Mango Ink has been almost 20 years) doing things we care about, and trying to make people happy. At the end of the day, if you're not happy, I'll do whatever I have to make sure you are, or at least don't feel like you wasted money.

So, yes. Damn good.

Like I said, I love this. As in, we love the stuff we sell. As in, I (Ryan) made this entire store so I would have the stuff I want.

I have our artwork in our house. I wear these shirts and hoodies and long sleeves (too much). I put our drinks in our mugs and on our coasters. First. Before I sell them. I have to love the stuff soldl (if you see it disappear quietly you know why) and I insist on being proud of it as well.

08L has been around since January 2014 and I have changed four or five of our manufacturers because we didn't like the quality of certain items. I insist on it in every thing we sell.

Zero Eight Left is a runway designation meaning that it's the left runway facing 80 degrees. This runway exists at numerous airports including CDG in Paris, HNL, and YVR... all really important places to me. 

We could have chosen 08 Right but I'm left-handed and thus, left is cooler.

Most products ship within 1 to 5 business days (depending on the product) and then it's up to shipping and your location... Poster prints are really fast, as our socks, our signature tee, and decals. Metals take a bit longer as do other apparel items

Quite simply, we end up printing on demand most of the art. Why? Becuase there are over 1,000 designs (for many small airports) and it changes constantly and you notice and know every change!

So if I were to stock ORD posters (which I would because they are great sellers) you know I would order a few hundred just as a taxi way is changed and then... I'd have a bunch of useless posters. So I just create most stuff on demand - which costs a little more - but it will be accurate and allow me to be more flexible with the art.

Yeah it seems to have gotten a bit worse over the past few years - but that's alright.

If it's USPS (which it is 99.999% of the time) let's first wait 15 days because lots of stuff shows up in those 15 days. If you still don't have it, a new one will be sent. USPS makes me wait 30 days so I'm trying to be helpful here but it's hard sometimes.

Also here are some helpful tips that have worked for some customers in the past:

1. Check All Around Your Home: Please thoroughly inspect areas such as under trees, bushes, gardens, and other places where the package might have been left discreetly by the delivery person.

2. Speak With Other Household Members: It's possible that someone else at your address received the package on your behalf. Please confirm with all residents or those present at the time of delivery.

3. Security Cameras: If you have security cameras installed, reviewing footage from the delivery time frame can provide clues about the package's location or the delivery person's actions.

4. Check Nearby Addresses: Sometimes packages are mistakenly delivered to a neighboring address. We recommend not only checking next door but also a few streets or blocks in your vicinity.

5. Confirm Your Address: Please double-check the shipping address provided in your order. Ensure there are no spelling errors and that no details are missing.

6. Contact Your Local Post Office: Your package was delivered through your local post office. Reach out to them and ask if they can provide additional information on the delivery, especially the coordinates from which the package was scanned as delivered. This will help verify if it was indeed delivered to your specified address.

To be honest, we need information on all of these to file a claim (which we usually don't and we usually just eat the reprint ourselves - which stinks) but all the above information is important .

A: Yes. The only thing to be aware of is all taxes and duties are your responsibility.

You may return your unused item in its original condition and packaging within 15 days of receipt. Just let us know. If you want to exchange an item you also have 15 days to do so. Yes, we've gone well past 15 days for certain reasons but please look at your stuff when it arrives. We're a small business and returning an item 90 days later is not great for us. : )

You will need to pay the shipping to return the item in the case of returns or exchanges. We'll pay the shipping back to you on an exchange.Because refunds will not be issued in full for items damaged in return shipping or returns that are never received, we highly recommend that you insure all return shipments and provide 08 Left Support with the shipment tracking number.We do not accept returns of modified products (including color changes), or custom products, or on products that are 60 x 40 or larger, if there is no defect or quality issues.We will offer exchanges on custom apparel for sizing reasons/defects only.

Damage Policy

All items are shipped to you in the best possible packaging to ensure that you receive your purchase in perfect condition. When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

This website uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart including when you have abandoned your cart and this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS.

How do you get my consent?

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

SECTION 6 - SECURITY
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

COOKIES
Here is a list of cookies that we use. We’ve listed them here so you can choose if you want to opt-out of cookies or not.

_session_id, unique token, sessional, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.
_secure_session_id, unique token, sessional
storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.

Returns

Let's fix it! Let me know within 15 days of tracking say the item was delivered. I will usually ask for a photo and then I'll get you a new one ASAP if the mistake is on me.

There are no refunds for items that do not arrive "on time" mainly because the shippers don't even guarantee times anymore. Yeah, sad times.

So no guarantees on any production times as well especially during the crazy holiday seasons! : )

Customizations & Custom stuff

That's not really a question but it is a exestential struggle of us all isn't it? Anyway if it's a missing diagram, send me an email and let me know what you're looking for. But that can take a long time! So if you want to be sure to get it quicker, commission me!

You can change colors and more. All of the custom options are specified here.

You can always request a proof in the notes section of the checkout and I'll send you what it looks like before shipping out your art. Keep in mind, however, that when requesting another color scheme, it will look just like that color scheme and proofs may slow down the process.
